Translatory and rotatory motion can be seen as completely independent.

Some examples for you:

A simple wheel rolling on the road

A spinning fidget spinner thrown away

A bullet shot through a rifle barrel

A baseball ball hit slightly off its center

Any planet

Any moon and satellite

Any star

Any solar system

Any galaxy

Answer:

Yes the body can have multiple motions at the same time for example if you roll down a ball through inclined then the ball will do the rotational motion as well as linear motion.

Translational motion involves the motion of an (entire) object from one place to another. Rotational motion involves the motion of an object around a pivot point or axis or its center of mass.
