Can a bomb initially at rest explode into three pieces which fly mutually perpendicularly to each other?

How many people use DuckDuckGo?

Let’s assume the bomb is floating in space at rest with respect to some reference point. When it explodes only 3 pieces fly apart. Any two pieces, no matter what their masses, fly out from the point of origin in straight lines that describe a plane in which they both remain in flight. Their combined center of mass will fly away from the point of origin and also remain in the plane. The third piece MUST move opposite to the motion of the center of mass of the other two pieces, meaning in the same plane and at an angle 180 degrees from the movement of the center of mass of the others. There can be no perpendicular motion out of the plane and if any two pieces fly apart on paths that are 90 degrees apart, the third piece cannot possibly fly on a path that is 90 degrees from either of the first two.

Please follow the one I am following..

Nope I think because the bomb might not activate thus not explode
