can a country be both - a monarchy and a democracy? if so, give an example

A country can't be both democracy neither monarchy. But very few country is both democracy and monarchy.
For example:-
1. Democracy:- Our country (India) is democracy, Now Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, U.S.A. , etc.
2. Democracy and Monarchy:- United Kingdom
