Can A Decimal with a 0 in front of the point be taken out and still have the same value?
Example: 08.75

In engineering and science, you usually only know a number up to a certain number of digits. If you’ve looked at a book and it looks like it’s 18 cm tall, you would not say it looks like it’s 18.00 cm. But if you’ve measured it with a micrometer and found it to be 18 cm to the nearest one hundredth of a cm, than you should say it’s 18.00 cm tall.

Yes it will have the same value. As in the case of the example if we take out the zero it will become 8.75. 08.75=8.75. But if we remove zero after the point and before a number example: 80.75, if we take out the zero these two numbers won’t be equal
