Yes, the displacement reaction can be a redox reaction.

Zn + CuSO4 --------------> ZnSO4 + Cu ( this is normally the displacement reaction where zinc displaces copper)

In this, Oxidation reaction = Zn----------> Zn+2 ¬¬+ 2e- And the reduction reaction is Cu+2– + 2e+ ------------> Cu
