HEY MATE !

\huge{YOUR \:QUESTION}:-Can a food chain start from an animal? Give reasons!!

\huge{ANSWER}:- NO

REASON:-
It is because every animal eats meat or grass means if a food chain will start with animal then those animal would be vegitarian and a vegetarian animal eats grass so that in every case an food chain will start from plants there is no way that a food chain can start from animal .

Food chain starts with plants because they are the producers. You cannot have a food chainuntil food has been produced. Plants are called producers because they use energy from the sun to make their own food through a process called photosynthesis.
