Can a number 4^n, n being a natural number, end with the digit 5? Give reason.​

first check with what all can 4^n end

u can see that 4^1=4       4^2=16          4^3=64          4^4=256

                      4^5=1024  4^6=4096

so after two terms the ending number is repeating this is called cyclicity

we can see that 4^n where n is odd ends with 4 and where n is even ends with 6

if n is 0 of couurse u know that it ends with 1

therefore it will not end with 5
