Velocity has two component Magnitude & direction

If it is moving with constant speed then its magnitude is constant (speed is constant) but its direction Can change

There would be acceleration as there would be change in direction.

In Circular Motion - even if it is moving with constant speed the direction is changing continuously so there is angular acceleration  

If there is no change in direction & Speed of object

then acceleration would be zero ( No acceleration)
