Yes, a person can be ill by evil deeds.

It is so because of KARMA. If any person does evil deeds, Karma will make him/her realise their mistake, and punish them too. That's how people become ill. And...many people become bad person because they've been treated badly, and they think that they should also become bad to survive. In other words, they're already ill. This is what kills humanity. Mentally-ill people, who are treated badly in past, actually tend to do more evil deeds, that's how criminals are born.
