no a person cannot be successful without doing hard work because striving for success without hard work is like trying to harvest where you haven't planted. success is such a special thing that it cannot be achieved without hard work on it can be sustained without hard work but definitely will be appreciated by all because everyone knows that it is difficult to achieve success without effort or without doing hard work

So, it is not true, for many people, that success may be reached without working hard. It only looks like rich kids need not work hard because their parents had done the hard working, they have to continue the legacy their parents left, and it is up to the individual to continue or not.
