No it cannot be as the solute is not dissolved fully and in a heterogeneous solution the solute is dissolved. Plz. Mark the answer brainless which is appropriate.

Ramlayaksingh3: But a colloid is a heterogeneous solution, isn't?
dhruvsalunkhe: we consider them as heterogeneous but still at has some qualities of homogeneous too.
dhruvsalunkhe: like air smoke most fog etc

For the answer of this question, first you should know what homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures really are.

⏪ Homogeneous mixture:--- It has the same and uniform composition throughout and the solute is uniformly dissolved in the solution.

⏪Heterogeneous mixture:--- It has a non- uniform composition and the solute is not uniformly dissolved in the solution.

Now, coming to your question,

In a true solution ( sometimes also referred as only solution ) , solute is dissolved uniformly and the solute has a uniform composition throughout the solution. And we know, this type of solutions are referred as homogeneous.

So, a solution ( Also called True solution) can never be heterogeneous due to its uniform composition.
