It is an idea of science fiction but it is possible to travel to future using time machine. Relativity shows that it is possible to create a time machine that will jump you forward in time. All you need to do then, is to step into the time machine and wait and step out , you will find that much more time has passed on Earth than for you. But the problem we have in doing this is lack of technology, but it is only a matter of engineering and we know one day i will be done.
