Can adipose cells be destroyed in an organism's body?If not then why and if yes then how?​

yes ,adipose cell can definitely be destroyed once the cell loses all it's lipid/fat content.

This condition of destruction of adipose cell can occur if a person undergoes starvation for prolonged periods of time. All the fats are used up for energy production and adipose cells die.

Once proper nutrition is provided, the adipose cells regenerate.
