Yes agriculture can be organised through a smart method of farming known as sustainable agriculture. 

Sustainable agriculture helps in the practice of farming in such a way that the societies' needs would be met without jeopardizing the needs of the future generations.

There are 3 main objectives of sustainable farming:

1. healthy environment
2. economic profitability
3. social and economic equity

Each and every farmer can contribute towards the betterment of agricultural land through taking precautions in the form of minimizing water use, use of good fertilizers to increase the fertility of land for better produce and lowering the pollution levels.
