Yes air is compressible
We know air is a combination of different gases, and we already know that gases are compressible fluids
here is a little experiment to show that gases are compressible
Take a piston and a beaker fill the beaker with some gas remember gas has free molecules with lots of space between them, now put the piston and try to push it down feel like the the space is reduced???there it is the gas is compressed the molecules which are scattered not are compressed hence gases are compressible

Answer: Yes it is compressible
Explanation:
Applying pressure makes the molecules of gas come closer and thus they are converted into liquid phase.
When gases are compressed, they occupy a smaller volume and thus more amount of gas can be stored.
Example: Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in compressed form is a mixture of propane and butane and is used as a fuel at homes. Oxygen stored in compressed form is used for artificial respiration in hospitals.
