1st_____

It will act as perfect superconductor.

The current passing through it will never cease.

There will be no dissipation of electrical energy in to Joule heat.

No source of voltage will be needed to maintain the current.

Meissner andOchsenfeld in1933, found that if a superconductor is cooled in a magnetic field(Ba<Bc) to below the transition temperature, then at the transition temperature the magnetic field lines are completely pushed out of the material. This phenomenon is called Meissner effect.

If you place a thin layer of insulator between two superconductors then also by tunneling effect current will flow from one superconductor to another superconductor.(Josephson effect).

It is found that when a substance gets converted into superconducting state, it’s entropy decreases remarkably.

2nd_______

BASIS FOR COMPARISON 1.CONDUCTOR2.INSULATOR

Definition. 1.The elements which allow the flow of electric current through it by the application of voltage. 2.The elements which do not allow any flow of electric charge.

1.Electric Conductivity. 2.Good conductor.
