If the Velocity is constant then there is no acceleration. ... The changing direction caneven change the velocity. It means that if an object continues to go at the same speed without slowing down or going fast but changes its direction then definitely the velocity changes.

Acceleration means change in velocity with respect to time. If an object doe's move mean it is in rest position then how will it's velocity changes, then how it is said to have acceleration. If an object is moving with uniform speed then it not means that it is accelerated as change in speed or velocity doesn't take place.
