Answer: Yes, an object with constant acceleration reverses its direction of travel. This can be explained by considering following example. Example: A body thrown to upper direction will change its direction after reaching the maximum height, but the acceleration due to gravity is always constant in this situation.

DreamBoy850: but i think question is saying that the acceleration of the body not acceleration due to gravity....also i think in this situation acceleration isnot constant.when body is going upward, its acceleration is drecreasing and when it reahes at max height its acceration becomes 0.also increases when returning back....so how the acceleration could be constant

yes. For example, when an object is moving in a circular path with uniform speed, its acceleration is always directed towards center and is constant. At its diametrically two opposite points, the acceleration reverse its direction. As shown in figure the direction of acceleration is reversed:
