An old egg of hen kept in a refrigerator does not develop into a chick. This is because the temperature inside the refrigerator is very low and is not at all suitable for any living being to grow and mature. Also, it is best to not keep the egg inside the refrigerator for more than certain period of time.

If the egg is incubated again it will not develop into chick because it loose it's embryo.
