Organs systems show a significant overlap of the functioning. They have to work in an integrated and coordinated manner to successfully perform the specific functions of the body. If an organ system does not function correctly then one of the functions necessary for life does not get completed and the organ system would not work , this in turn will affect the survival of the organism as a whole.
