MAHABHARATA is an epic written by Lord Ganesha and composed by Sri Ved Vyasa. It depends on you to believe it or not. It is a question of faith and belief. There may be some fantasy in it but it does have some facts in it and is supported by chronology. The Mahābhārata is one of the two major Sanskrit epics of ancient India, the other being the Rāmāyaṇa. The title may be translated as "the great tale of the Bhārata dynasty". Mahabharat is composed by VedVyas.The great varata ,is one of most important ancient epics of India....
It is believed to have been 650 B.C.it is divided into 18 khandas which are called parva.....
