The process of producing offspring with the process of fertilization is called parthenogenesis. It occurs in plants, some invertebrates species including nematodes.

It is a phenomenon in which an egg is developed into an offspring without the process of fertilization. This phenomenon has been seen in the mentioned below organisms

- Lizard

- Honey bees

- Rotifers

- Turkey

Producing offspring without zygote formation (fertilisation) is definitely possible. We call it as parthenogenesis.

In these organisms, they develop the egg inside them and deliver it out which then on its own develops to create a replacement offspring while not fertilising.

Yet they must need some conditions to develop.

Some examples are:

• Lizards, Honeybee, Birds like turkey, Rotifers, some plants also.
