Let length be y and breadth be x
Is given that y = 26 + x
Distance around
= perimeter
= 2(l + b)
= 2(x + y)
= 2(x + 26 + x)
= 2 (2x + 26)
= 2 [ 2(x+13)]
= 4(x+13)
= 400
x+13 = 400/4 = 100
x = 100 - 13 = 87
Therefore, breadth = 87 m and length = 26 + 87 = 113 m
