2) Lateral meristematic tissue :- it present lateral side of root and stem .

function :- the main function of lateral meristematic tissue is increase girth or width of plant.

3) intercalary meristematic tissue :- it is present at internode or base of node .

function :- intercalary meristematic increase the length between two nodes .
