as the name suggest fusion means 2 smaller nuclei fuse to become a greater nuclei. nd fission means to break means bigger nuclei break to form smaller nuclei .

nuclear fission means breaking of one heavy nucleus in light nuclei
nuclear fussion means joining of light nucleus and make heavy
nuclear fussion means joining of light nucleus and make heavy
