Direct and indirect speech:::
direct speech is is a report of the exact words used by a speaker or writer.
Indirect speech is a report on what someone else said or wrote without using that person's exact words.
Example:
1) Rahul: I am a student. ( direct speech)
2) Rahul said that he is a student. ( indirect speech)

ACTIVE AND PASSIVE VOICE:::
Passive voice means that the subject in a sentence is the receiver of the action.
Active voice is when the subject in a sentence is the doer of the action.
Example:
1) She sing a song. (active voice)
2) A song is sung by her. ( passive voice)
