RULE 1.
❇All non zero digits are significant.
❇Ex: In 12376 It has 5 significant figures
RULE 2.
❇All zeroes occurring between the non zero digits are significant.
Ex: In 230089 it has 6 significant figures.
RULE 3.
❇ All zeroes to the left of non zero digit and right of decimal are not significant.
❇EX: in 0.0023 It has only 2 significant figures.
RULE 4.
❇if the number ends in zeroes that are not the right of a decimal, The zeroes are not significant.
❇Ex: in 1500.Only 2 significant figures.
