There is a equation given = 12x^2 ‐ 15x +3

If we put x = 1/2 we get 12x^2 - 15x +3 = 12 × (1/2)^2 - 15 × 1/2 +3

= 12/4 - 15/2 +3

= 3 - 15/2 +3

=( 6 - 15 )/2 +3

= - 9/2 +3 =( -9 + 6) /2 = -3/2
