1 The formula for work is force × displacement.... 2. The formula for potential energy is mgh where m is mass , g is gravity , and h is height....... The formula for kinetic energy is 1/2 m v square...... where m is mass and v is velocity...

Work done = force × displacement  , W = F s

=================================================

Potential energy = mgh   , m = Mass of the object   , h =  displacement (height) ,  g =  acceleration due to gravity.

=======================================================
Kinetic energy = 1/2 m v² ,  m = Mass of the object , v = velocity of the object.

========================================================
Potential energy + Kinetic energy = constant.

=========================================================
Power = work/time  , P = W/t

=======================================================
 1 W = 1 J s-1

========================================================
1 kW h = 3.6 × 10 J
