Scalar quantities are those quantities which have only magnitude where as vector quantities are the quantities which have magnitude as well as direction.

Example of scalar quantities are length, distance, speed ,etc.

Example of vector quantities are force,weight,etc.

Scalar quantities are quantities which has only magnitude and no direction

Example: Speed, Distance

Vector quantities are quantities which has both magnitude and direction

Example: Velocity, Displacement
