Given :--

  • AB is the Diameter .
  • Angle CBA = 48°

To Find :-

  • Angle CAB = ?

Concept Used :-

  • A triangle drawn from two ends of a diameter of a circle makes an angle of 90° at the circumference.
  • Angle sum Property.

Solution :-

As it is given that, AB is the diameter of the circle .. So, From above Told concept we can say That :-

Angle ACB = 90°.

Now, By Angle Sum property we know that, Sum of all Three angles of a is 180°..

So,

Angle CAB + Angle CBA + Angle ACB = 180°

Putting values now,

Angle CAB + 48° + 90° = 180°

→ Angle CAB = 180- (48+90)

→ Angle CAB = 180° - 138°

→ Angle CAB = 42°...

Hence , Angle CAB will be 42°..

Step-by-step explanation:

\huge\underline\purple{\sf Answer :-} In triangle ACB

\large\implies{\sf } Angle ABC= 48° (Given)

  • Angle ACB = 90° ( Right angled triangle) (Given)

Now, By the angle sum property of the triangle

\large\implies{\sf } Angle ( ACB+ ABC + CAB) = 180°

\large\implies{\sf } Angle ( 90° + 48° + CAB) = 180°

\large\implies{\sf } Angle ( 138° + CAB ) =180°

\large\implies{\sf }Angle CAB = (180° 138° )

\large\implies{\sf }Angle CAB = 42°
