Take a wheel with an outside diameter of one meter (calibrated using whatever handy meter stick you have). Mark a line across the width of the rim with some paint (or a 0.5 mm razor-point pen if you have one). Roll the wheel on a clean, dry, flat paper surface. The two marks on the surface are exactly π units apart. The accuracy of the distance is about the same as it is when you paint two marks exactly one unit apart, measured by your same handy meter stick.
If you can draw a line segment of length 1, you can draw one of length π.
