We became free from the British role on 15 August, 1947.so this day is a red letter day in Indian history. This day is observed as independence day. All people of our country celebrated this day with pomp and show..

On this day, we pay homage to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives to end the British rule. On this day, the prime Minister delivers his annual speech and unfurl the national flags at the red fort in Delhi. The national anthem is also sung. All over country gather here to listen to the speech of prime Minister. Governors and chief minister of various states of india hoist national flag and deliver speeches in state capitals.. This day is observed as a national holidays. Peoples like to hear patriotic songs on this day...
