The outside measurements of a picture frame are 100 cm by 50 cm. If the frame is 4 cm wide, find the area of the wood used to make the frame

The outside measure of frame =100cm by 50cm

width of the frame=4cm

Area of frame =l×b
=( 100 × 50)cm
now, =5000cm Squre
area of used wood=(5000÷4)cm
=1250cm
