can any show how
 \sqrt{ {34}^{2} +  {10}^{2}  }  = 35.44
??

here is your answer

 \sqrt{ {34}^{2} + {10}^{2} }
= \sqrt{34 \times 34 + 10 \times 10}
= \sqrt{1156 + 100}
= \sqrt{1256}
34.44
