Answer:

we can get the velocity by differentiating displacement with respect to time

so, velocity in X direction

= dx/dt

= 4t/dt

= 4 m/s

velocity in Y direction

= dy/dt

= 2t^2/dt

= 4t

total velocity = velocity in X direction +velocity in Y direction

or, (4+4t) is the required answer
