Can anybody explain how democracy produces accountable, responsible government in simple words ? ( Don't give bookish language)

Dekho ek simple sa answer is question ka hindi mein..

Accountable ka matlab hota hai jawabdeh means who have to give proof for his work..

So agar government jawab nhi degi toh public unhe Dobara elect nhi karegi isliye government Accountable aur responsive hoti hai..

Democracy is a form of government where people elect thier representative, and they, themselves are the real rulers!

The word Accountable simply means, Responsible, Answerable.

Democracy is a form of government where the government is accountable, that is, the government themselves, is responsible and answerable to what they are doing (policies, administration) etc..

In Democracy, there is a lot of electoral competition (elections). As a party wins, they form the government, and other forms the opposition party.

Opposition party always try to make the bad image of the ruling party and good in them so that they can win over next election. So, this creates a spirit which inspires ruling party to do more better.

If they do anything unfair, they are just answer able to the opposition party and people!! So, Democracy ensures security!!

If they don't function properly, surely, citizens can demote them in next elections.
