Can anybody explain the above diagram.
I read it everytime but still become confuse after some time.....​

Hey mate , this is a diagram of a dial gauge indicator.A dial indicator aims at comparing measurements between two objects in order to check the conformity of one of the objects, the second one being the reference.  The dial indicator can be used in: Manufacturing processes, to check the flatness of a surface before machining it.
