so for b part .....
no. of cartons containing two to six defective bulbs are 48 + 41 + 18 + 8 +6 = 121 cartons
so bulbs in this case are ..121*40=4840 bulbs
P = 4840/28000 =121/700......
similarly do third part hope it helps
