@sarthak, it's not a slang. It's what the group of people are called. And they are humans, just like us.
It's cool that in MUN and stuff you guys are getting such topics, so that even youngsters can discuss these issues freely and come to ease with accepting them. In India, I strongly agree life is difficult to be a member of LGBTQ coz people just don't understand and think it's something alien, out of the world behaviour, whereas it's pretty normal actually.

LGBTQ Community is the community of the different sexually oriented people.

G - G*y
B - Bisexual
T - Transgender
Q - Queer.
In India there isn't that support for these communities so the ones who belong to the above mentioned sexual orient kill themselves or just get depressed and stressed or they fly away from India.
