can anyone answer a simple question ...
cell division in amobea should be considered reproduction as each cell represent an individual amobea......
but it is considered growth . .
how?why?

Explanation:

it is said that growth is marked by increases in number of cell

in case of unicellular organisms like amoeba we cannot differentiate between growth and reproduction

morever unicellular organisms have no natural death as they are dividing themselves into new organisms
