Answer:

11 a) the bottle floats because the density of bottle is much lower than that of water which makes it float.

b) buoyant force

c) the bottle rises up because when we push the bottle in water the pressure of our hand increases the force of bottle in water also increase but when we leave the water the water again increases its buoyant force this results in rising up of bottle again

d) The buoyant force depends on the mass of the object, the weight of the object and its density. Also, the buoyant force depends on the volume of the liquid displaced.

12 a)

they will start falling with same rate but as the paper is lighter than stone so pressure of air will will effect on paper mostly.thus results in decreasing the speed of paper

b) stone will fall first as it is somehow have more weight than paper so the pressure of air will act less on it.

c) in the absence of air or in vaccum both the objects will fall simultaneously.

d) the objects fall towards the earth because of its high gravitational force.
