the five kingdom of classification is the most accepted system of classification. It was given byRobert H. Whittaker in year 1969.
According to this all the organisms are classified under five kingdoms namely
Kingdom Monera : Single celled prokaryotic organisms (mainly bacteria)
Kingdom Protista: Single celled eukaryotes (e.g. Amoeba, Paramecium)
Kingdom Fungi: Multicelluar, saprophytes (e.g. Mushrooms)
Kingdom Animalia: Multicellular (e.g chordates and non chordates)
Kingdom Plantae: Multicellular autotrophs (e.g all plants)
