(I)By SAS congruence.

Side-Angle-Side (SAS) Rule

Side-Angle-Side is a rule used to prove whether a given set of triangles are congruent. The SAS rule states that: If two sides and the included angle of one triangle are equal to two sides and included angle of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent. And in the figure AB=DC,angle ABO=Angle ODC=90degree (right angle).BO=OD(as O is mid )

(ii)Yes, Because BD has a mid O so if BO =OD, then AB is also =DC

(I suppose)... ...

Hope you've understood

Hey mate thank for the question

Hope it helps

Given conditions

AB is perpendicular on BD

So <ABO=90

CD is perpendicular on BD

So <CDO=90

O is the midpoint on BD

So BO=OD

(1) triangleABO=triangleCDO

reasons

<ABO=<CDO (each 90)

<AOB=<COD (vertically opposite angles)

BO=OD ( O is the mid point )

By congruency rule of AAS

triangleABO is congruence to triangleCDO

(2)

Since triangleABO=triangleCDO

then AB=CD (by c.p.c.t)

Thanks for the question
