by applying the pythagoras theorem

a) consider triangle AQR

AQ^2 +QR^2 = AR^2

6^2+8^2= 36+64= 100 = 10^2

The answer is 10m

b) consider triangle SAR

SA^2+ AR^2 = SR^2

=》SA^2= SR^2-AR^2

=》26^2-10^2=576=24^2

The answer is 24
