can anyone explain criss cross method for chemistry formula with easy tips ?

criss cross method is very easy.you can do it with a small table like method.for example,
write the valency of the two element we are given
example1,
if  zinc and chlorine,
  zn         cl
  2           1
zncl2 is the answer because zn gets 1 and cl gets 2 by criss crossing.

example 2,
aluminuium(al) and oxygen(o),
al       o
3        2
 while solving this we get al2o3       
as aluminium gets the valency of oxygen and oxygen gets valency of aluminium.

*always put this small criss cross so that you wont make any mistake.
