basically numericals are "physics problems". like how we have "math problems" we have problems to solve in physics too! ... They say math is the root of physics. Theories are easy to understand but when you get numericals...well, that's when things get a little painful In the begging.First, determine the units of the quantity you're trying to find and the quantities you have. Only use base units (meters, kilograms, seconds, charge), not compound units (Force is measured in Newtons, which are just kg*m/s2). Multiply and divide the quantities until the units match the units of the answer quantity.
