civil disobedience movement started by Gandhiji in 1930. it started with Dandi March.Dandi march was when the government impose taxes on the salt and Gandhiji decided to break the salt law was with the help of Dandi March can 12 March 1930 Gandhiji along his followers left Sabarmati ashram and travel towards Dandi after working for 25 25 days for 385 kilometre Gandhiji break the salt law. then in 1930 the same here there was a first table first round table conference where the the discussion on reforms proposed by the Simon commission happened . but nobody from the Congress participated in it and thus the conference was a failure then in 1931 the Gandhi Irwin pact that was when Gandhiji meant the viceroy ervine and sign the Gandhi Irwin pact under the term government agreed to release all those prisoners charged at the violence act but in return Gandhiji had to stop civil disobedience movement

then in September 1931 Gandhiji went to London for another conference British government invited the representatives from organisation connected to Muslims Sikhs Christians and Indian princess.

only Gandhiji represented the whole country and Gandhiji led his perspectives before the government but the government refused.

then Gandhiji resume the civil disobedience movement of people was struggling for freedom and many of them jailed now then this turned to to quit India movement
