can anyone explain me how to find atomic and mass number

to find atomic number first find the number of electron present in an atom hence atomic number = electron present in an atom and atomic mass is double of atomic number eg:-lithium (li) electron present in it are 3 atomic number is 3 and atomic mass is 6
