The ozone cycle is the process by which ozone is continually regenerated in Earth's stratosphere, converting ultraviolet radiation (UV) into heat.

Ozone (O₃) is a poisonous gas as is very unstable as it combines it breaks down again.

First nascent oxgen combines with oxygen molecule then breaks down again with the effect of UV rays or by itself

O₂ + O(Nascent Oxygen) ⇒ O₃(unstable)

O₃ ⇒ O₂ + O

This leads to protect us from the harmful effect of UV rays.
